Atlanta Insurance, Atlanta Auto Insurance
Last week I had the experience of going to the New Media Atlanta Conference held at Georgia Tech. The conference was put together by friends Brad Nix and Matt Fagioli, and was designed to take a close look at the way businesses are using social media (facebook, twitter, etc.) for business and customer service. Chris Brogan (best-selling author and founder of New Marketing Labs) was the keynote speaker (scroll to the bottom of this page to watch his entire presentation), and the event had a full lineup of representatives from many large companies, a few of the most notable including Turner Broadcasting and Newell Rubbermaid. The main topic of discussion was the way these companies are incorporating social media into their business strategies to build deeper communication channels with customers.
I had intentions of capturing a lot of footage to upload here on Atlanta Insurance Live! and I did capture some, but I realized that others captured the event much better than I could… after all, I’m just an insurance agent. Below you will find a few different videos from the conference, and I’ve also added a link so you can watch the entire conference if you’re really curious! I’ve even created a BackNoise channel called AtlantaInsuranceLive if you want to give me your opinions about how I am using social media for my business… and I know you have an opinion!
Below is a short video that I put together. I may win an award for Best Director… we’ll see. I wanted a few friends to get their shout-outs, and I found it powerful how Shaun King and Hope Atlanta are using social media to help flood victims.
Below are two additional clips from friend Steve Burns, covering highlights of the event. Great job here Steve!
Run Level Media did an outstanding job capturing Chris Brogan’s moment on stage…
And of course… follow this link if you want to see the entire conference.
